Bridgeport Reservoir:
Fair.

Severe algae bloom, warm water and thick weeds are making it difficult for fly fishers here.  Use a full sink line, type 4 or five and stay near the
dam at the north end of the lake.  Perch fry imitations in olive will work,
as well as damsel fly nymph patterns.  Conditions should improve as the
season gets longer in the tooth.  Hopefully the lake level will not drop
tremendously and we can expect a great fall run of browns.
